Compare the complete formulas, intended use, and scent before choosing. The simplest choice is the one that suits your skin and preferences.
Naked: two ingredients, no added scent
Naked is a whipped balm made with grass fed tallow and jojoba oil. It has no added fragrance or essential oils. Natural ingredient aroma can still be noticeable.
Bareface: calendula facial moisture
Regular Bareface contains calendula infused tallow, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and lemongrass essential oil. It is a facial moisturizer, not a fragrance free formula or an eye cream. Avoid eyes and patch test.
Calma: a different body balm formula
Calma lists tallow, emu oil, olive oil, chamomile oil, and colloidal oatmeal. It is a concentrated moisturizer, not an eczema treatment. If you react to botanicals or oats, check suitability before using it.
Halal options have their own formulas
A regular product and a separately labeled halal option are not interchangeable. Read the ingredient list on the exact item you order. See current halal options.
Before you choose
Before wider use, try a new product on a small area of intact skin. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends testing a normal application twice daily for seven to ten days. Stop if redness, itching, swelling, or irritation occurs. A home use test cannot guarantee that a product will not cause breakouts.
